Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, convicted murderer of 32 at the Boston Marathon, is found guilty. Thirty two times. Of placing a bomb in a public place, conspiracy, and murder. He is eligible for the death penalty. Seventeen times. Apparently, he was sending a message to Americans, and signaling the holy warriors of Islam to rise up. It took the jury 11 and a half hours to come to this decision. During the reading of the counts, Tsarnaez could not look anyone in the eye. The trial will resume soon in order to determine his punishment. There is no doubt that it will probably take even longer than the eleven and a half hours it took to determine this.
It is amazing to me that acts of terrorism are still occurring in modern day America. From 9/11 on, it seems that Americans have been the victims of violence from other nations. But in some ways, it seems we also deserved it, for the detonation of the atomic bombs and interference in the Middle East with oil and exportation. However, discrimination is never justified. We have enough of that going on at the home front, and we do not need it from outside sources as well.
Yes, I agree with this, "discrimination is never justified. We have enough of that going on at the home front, and we do not need it from outside sources as well."
