single-person aircraft lands on Capitol grounds Heather McKay

    A small plane landed in the grassy area in front of the west side of the capitol building. The piolet has been taken into custody but little is known about the situation. Officials are reporting that the pilot is a mailman from Florida who planned the flight to protest the Supreme Court decision in Citizens' United case and the influence of outside money in politics. He told the Times that he wanted to deliver mail to lawmakers outlining his complaints.

   This is pretty funny and I honestly dont know of any other time in history this has happened. However, I am a little confused how the mailman got a plane....increased security from 9-11 would have stopped him (hopefully) from hijacking one.....who knows.
