The
police have recently arrested a man who happened to
participate in a protest outside the Ferguson police station. The
police have offically charged him with two counts of first-degree
assault he's supposedly being accused of firing shots that wounded
two police officers very early Friday morning. The man, Jeffrey
Williams who is 20 years old still denies that he shot at the police
officers, instead claiming that while he did fire the gun it was for
a very different reason and direction.
This is just like during the civil
rights movement, the police began accusing people of things whether
they were true or not. However, as this accusation directly follows
the Ferguson case there is doubt as to whether or not the police are
telling the truth, much like the people wondered during old cases in
the 60's and 70's.
