Six world powers led by the United States announced a framework deal with Iran limiting its nuclear program Thursday, April 2nd, 2015. Negotiators agreed to 7 key points: Centrifuges, Uranium enrichment, Breakout time, Fordow facility, Research and development, Inspections, & Sanctions lifted. Basically getting the materials needed to make nuclear weapons would take to long or be impossible to assemble if needed.
With having great power such as nuclear power, comes great responsibility. I personally would not trust the Iran government with nuclear power. I'm glad to see there has been some authorization on this issue. Incidents such as the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings and the Three Mile Island accident are enough reason to try to prevent nuclear weapons from being built and/or used.
