Capitol Lockdown by Elizabeth Walker P.3

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/04/11/us-capitol-building-on-lockdown-after-reports-shots-fired/

The US Capitol building was locked down Saturday after there were reports of shots fired on the Western front of the building. It was only a precaution and was later lifted. Later, it was confirmed that it was indeed a suicide. There has been no connection found to any possible terrorism. Congress has been out of session for the past two weeks, thank goodness. They will be resuming soon. This is not unlike the many that jumped during the Great Depression Era. After the Stock Market Crash, many felt as if they had no hope as resorted to jumping rather than dealing with the consequences of their businesses failing. Many of them felt as if they had failed themselves and their families. Their parents had all been more successful than they ever ended up to be, and they thought that was their fault. We cannot know what was going through the man's head when he committed suicide in front of the Capitol, but there had to be some kind of reason for the place of historical importance. It's good that the security threat is over and that there's no chance of terrorism.
