The idea that the captain was suicidal is a plausible idea, but the articles I'm reading are not providing sufficient evidence to make such a claim. I'm not dismissing the fact that this could be real, but all the news sites are making it seem like this is the answer, when in actuality, it's just speculations and theories.
If this theory were true, it would connect to the EgyptAir flight 804 where the National Transportation Safety Board determined the pilot to be suicidal as well.
