55 Palestinian Protesters Killed, Gaza Officials Say, As U.S. Opens Jerusalem Embassy - Jack B

At 3 PM on Monday tens of thousands of Palestinians were protesting the opening of a new US embassy in Jerusalem. According to the the Gaza Health Ministry, Israeli army forces killed 55 protesters and around 2,770 injured during the protest. The Isreal Defense Force claimed they killed three protesters that were setting up a bomb near the security fence in Rafah.

Analysis: This reminds me of the protests during the civil rights movement where protesters were beaten or killed and the perpetrators were never found guilty of these crimes.

  1. You know I'm beginning to have second thoughts on the Israeli government and military. Yes, they had much international freedom because of the Holocaust so some of their crimes went completely ignored. But this slowly beginning to grow really out of hand.

I think this happens in many instances where the government takes advantage of their citizens.
