Donald Trump in a statement says that he is for trained teachers and faculty to be in possession of guns in schools. Primarily, he said gun free zones should be eliminated but he revised his statement to say that they should only be eliminated in some cases. He says that this isnt something that he necessarily wants, but feels they are necessary. Trump also compares gun free zones as taking candy from a baby because of the easy target.
I think putting guns in schools is insane. There are so many safety measures that would have to be addressed before they would be installed, and even still, students may be able to have access to it. There is too much room for error in the situation.
