Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has been trailing behind former First Lady, Hillary Clinton, since before the primaries began. With the primaries closing this June in California, both Democratic nominee hopefuls are competitively campaigning. However, Sanders believes he can catch up. He's holding multiple rallies everyday in order to try and connect with the common folks of the sunshine state.
I, for one, believe that he could. His rhetoric is impressive and moving, and does anyone remember the 2008 elections? President Obama trailed behind alarmingly, and yet Clinton is not currently the president. Of course, only time can tell as to who will win the nomination this summer.
I am really really hoping Sanders will make an incredible comeback but it doesn't seem entirely logical at this point.. It seems to be becoming more of a reality to have Trump as our next president, which of course, horrifies me
