Trained Teachers + Guns In Classrooms = ???? -Carlos Joglar

Although not in favor of necessarily requiring teachers to carry guns into U.S. classrooms, Donald Trump does believe some teachers should be armed. He expressed his disbelief by the craziness that has been going on in schools in this country. His solution is to apparently put more guns into the schools, because, obviously, more guns cause less deaths! Trump has even recently accepted an endorsement from the National Rifle Association. Further, Trump has taken to his classic childish ways and has attacked Hillary Clinton on Twitter for her anti-gun stances.

Trump... what you doin'?? I can in no way understand his logic. How can one expect to end school shootings through the addition of firearms in the exact place people shoot children? This is so incredibly dangerous. I went to Spain over spring break, and was pleased to see that the only people allowed to carry guns are the police. Gun violence has been significantly lower than the U.S.'s, so why can't we take successful countries and adopt some of their policies that have obviously worked? While it technically would be considered unconstitutional to ban guns because it would go against the 2nd amendment, I think, when comparing the U.S. to other countries, it wouldn't be a bad thing to ban. The NRA is obviously corrupt and only wants money, so why not try it? If it has worked for Spain and Australia, why wouldn't it work for us?

  1. I completely agree! This makes no sense! His intention could be to protect kids, but the actions that could occur if this happened would be horrific.

  2. Hmm, I think not. If a couple of school aged children don't believe that more guns equals less deaths, you would think a grown adult would think so as well. Once again, trump defies any common logic and says nonsensical things.
