Top LGBT Republican Group refuses to endorse Donald Trump- Zia Bella 7th

The Log Cabin Republicans, one of the most influential LGBT republican groups, has officially declined to endorse Donald Trump, the republican candidate. Although they praise him for being perhaps the most pro--LGBT republican nominee in history, they are worried about the people who support him. The people who support him also support an extremely homophobic platform. The Log Cabin Republicans are outraged that Trump's campaign is not backing a pro-LGBT platform. It doesn't support same-sex marriage, transgender people having the right to use the bathroom of their choice and it even supports conversion therapy. The group says no matter who is elected they will continue the fight for achieving and securing LGBT rights. I am glad this this group exists, I didn't know about it until reading this article. I was happily surprised to find out that a pro-LGBT republican group is out there trying to do good. It just goes to show that I shouldn't make judgements about a group of people with out knowing the whole story.
