Stranger Things Star raising awareness for genetic disorder Zia Bella
Dustin, one of the characters in the hit TV series "Stranger Things", mentions that the reason that his teeth aren't in yet is because he has "cleidocranial dysplasia". Not only is this cool to have a character have it but the cooler part is that the actor who plays him, Gaten Matarazzo, actual has this rare genetic disorder. It affects one in a million, and its symptoms include underdeveloped bones and joints, absent collarbones, shortened limbs, skull deformities, and like Gaten knows, adult teeth that don't come in on time. He has shared his story of many surgeries and trouble in the acting world, and people from all over who share his struggles are chiming in. It is so admirable that he is using his new found fame to spread awareness on this topic.

This kid is so sweet:') He posts things about the disorder on Instagram pretty often. I have so much respect for him and what he's doing.
