A video of Donald Trump has been brought to the forefront of the media this week. In the video, taken in 2005, Trump curses and rudely talks about sexually assaulting women, all while laughing and carrying on. The video has left plenty of people outraged. Of course, many Republicans have turned away from supporting him. He has released an apology video, but most feel it doesn't erase the problem one bit. It is now said that Hillary has an 83% chance of winning the election.
Before anyone even reads this analysis, I HIGHLY encourage you to go watch the video. It is really unbelievable.
The article was published on the 8th, proving how immediate this issue really is. Before reading the article, I hadn't seen the video. I just knew of people's opinions of Trump. After seeing the video, I'm in shock! It would be very interesting to talk to one of the Trump supporters who has seen the video and still supports (because there are people like that, folks). The article was written for the general public, especially the voting public, to inform them of the recent political scandal involving one of the candidates. This article is extremely important because everyone who is going to vote in the election needs to know who they're voting for and be able to make a smart decision. Using things against politicians goes way back. For one example, the Reynolds Pamphlet was written by Alexander Hamilton after he had an affair with Maria Reynolds. James, her husband, collected blackmail money from Hamilton. When James Monroe and Thomas Jefferson found out, they agreed not to make the information public. However, Hamilton published the paper to deny corruption, and it severely hurt his reputation.

I don't see why anyone would vote for someone who talks down on women and lacks respect for them. Donald Trump would not only have presidential duties if he were elected, but he would be in charge of the country that women live in as well. The things that he says shows that he isn't fit to run our country.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah that happened....... We really are screwed come election day, and there's nothing we can do. Both sides are unfit for presidency, yet they are our candidates. Well then. I'm a little spooked
