Summary: John McCain, one of the Republican presidential candidates of the 2008 Election, said that any Supreme Court nominee to come from Hillary Clinton if she were to become president would be denied. McCain has been facing challenges in his attempt to be re-elected into his Senate seat. The Senate currently holds 54 Republicans and 46 Democrats, and if Hillary came into office that number would most likely be flipped making Republicans the minority.
Anaylsis: John McCain is acting like a stubborn toddler. He is throwing a fit about the possibility of losing his spot in the Senate and becoming hostile. People like him are the reason why America is still facing drawbacks. They are the people who cross their arms and stomp their feet when it comes to change. This country is still very young and developing every day, and in order to succeed even further, we need the overall morale to be positive to change.

I totally agree with your synthesis, if he doesn't deserve the spot he doesn't need it. The country is very young, and we have a long way to go to get our government successful -Jada brown

ReplyDeleteKiri Luckey: I agree with your synthesis, John is acting like a stubborn toddler. He is being very petty, he needs to grow up because we all just want what ever is best for our country.
ReplyDeleteHis stubbornness sort of reminds me of how Jackson acted as president, vetoing things just because he didn't like them. Politics are crazy.
