Obama on Negotiations with Russia
Angelica Salazar
This isn't necessarily an article but rather focused on the video of President Barack Obama. He begins to say how he is negotiating with Russia after his conference with the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, because of the crisis happening in Syria. To begin, Russia and the United States weren't necessarily allies but with the issues, the United States wanted to step in and help. This again gives America a good look over the other countries and nations. Obama had claimed that the U.S had "gaps of trust" with Russia and thus makes the negotiation taking place difficult.
At first, Russia and America did not begin as nice allies due to their differences in the structure of government and wars that had taken place back then. But after all, that big country did eventually use the idea of American democracy. Furthermore, in 1947, the Cold War also brought tension against the two countries. They each had opposing views due to their government, and routed for their own sides.
