Anna Czyzewski - Man Wanted for NYC and N.J. bombings arrested

About 50 hours after bombings in Chelsea and a New Jersey, Ahmad Khan Rahami was arrested. The bomb in Chelsea, New York was set off, fortunately only injuring 29 people. Five bombs were also found in a backpack in New Jersey, one of them exploding in front of a robot. When he was found, he immediately got into a gun fight with police officers, but was arrested.

Ever since 9/11, people have been on edge about the Muslim religion and immigrants bearing that faith. And many people, Muslim or not, Afghan or American born, still cling to ISIS. Rahami did visit Afghanistan recently, and it is believed that he was recruited while there. There have been so many attacks in America, and countless other countries, that fear has been at an all time high, and this act of terror does not help one bit.

  1. It's horrible how some people like to inflict this much suffering and hate towards other people i don't see the real meaning to it all.

  2. I liked your insight on the fear of the US citizens of terrorism increasing because of the recent attacks. I agree that this probably worried more people but because the bomber was found and arrested so quickly, most are probably reassured that there is a handle on the situation.
