Mall Shooting Suspect Arrested- Abbey Winiger

SUMMARY- A suspected man named Arcan Cetin was arrested for allegedly shooting four women and one man. The police don't know the motives behind the shooting of the Washington state mall, nor why the crimes were committed. Island County Sheriff, Lt. Mike Hawley told reporters that he spotted Cetin near the his home in Oak Harbor, around 30 miles west of the mall where the shooting took place. Hawley said he immediately recognized Cetin as the suspect, turned his patrol car around and arrested Cetin without incident. "He said nothing," said Hawley, who added that Cetin was unarmed and carrying a computer in a big bag when he was apprehended. He had legally immigrated the the U.S from Turkey, and it has been proven that he was arrested last year for a simple assault. The four women he shot died immediately at the Macy;s makeup counter, while the man died later after the final sweep of the police. The shooting was a senseless act throughout a small community. 

ANALYSIS/SYNTHESIS- Before reading this shocking article I had not heard of this shooting. I'm surprised that this event was not more publicized on social media outlets. I think this story is so sad, and it's horrible to hear that shooting events are still occurring throughout the United States. The fact that innocent victims are being killed for no reason is absolutely ridiculous. This story was written by FoxNews published on September 25th, the writing in this story sides with the victims of the shooting. FoxNews is a reliable news network and provides large story news. This article reminds me of the shooting that occurred in Sandy Hook elementary school because they both had crazy male shooters that had no real motives for the shootings.
