In the article the readers learn that a person was shot and killed during the Charolette protest. We learn that this person was not killed by an officer but another civilian. The original story describes then scene where the protesters near the Omni hotel where they began to throw things at the crowd, officers in riot gear emerge from the entrance. They later release tear gas to influence the protesters to move as they slowly inched forward. This article was written by cnn staff; Holly Yan, Ed Lavandera, and Boris Sanchez. It was published on September 21, and is current and accurate information. It was written to inform the civilians of this unfortunate event that took place on Wednesday. It connects to the Boston massacre where the British malita over powered the civilians who threw things at them.

This reminds me of the Dallas shooting during the Black Lives Matter protest. I hope that peace will be found. I wish all protests could end peacefully.
