Madelyn Dean - After Bombing on Jersey Shore, Residents Try to Make Sense of Chaos

This article featured in the New York Times focuses on the Saturday morning life on D street in Seaside Park, New Jersey. The bomb, hidden in a beach side trash can, exploded that morning on D Street. No one was hurt but the thought that any one could have died and that it was just by chance that no one was hurt is terrifying. It was discovered earlier today that the bombs in Manhattan is corresponded with the one in New Jersey. Ahmad Khan Rahami was arrested this morning due to his involvement in the bombings.

The author Vivian Lee wrote this article showing the people involved points of view. By understanding how casual a morning it had been up until that point and the danger that lurked too close we as an audience perceive how unreal an event like this is. to say it could happen anywhere you never think something like that would happen to you.  This relatively  relates to the 9/11 attacks, minus the mass amount of damage and loss of people, because of the threat it holds on us after the event and is it even over yet?
