Summary: On September 4, 2016 Oklahoma had a huge surprise. They had a 5.6 magnitude earthquake that could be felt in Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Nebraska and Iowa. The Oklahoma Corperation Commission is telling a the operators to shut down 35 disposable wells that could have played a major role in the involvement of the earthquake. For many years, people have always that that fracking is one of the main causes for earthquakes. The wells are connected to fracking which is disposing toxic waste water by drilling it deep down into the earth. Many people are debating if it was the wells or the fracking the causes earthquakes the most.
Analysis: I connected this to Texas. Lately Texas has been having many earthquakes. We may not all feel them and they may not do any damage but hey are there. I believe this is because we have been starting to oil drill more. I mean if we keep doing this we can't except nothing to happen. Some time here or now if we don't stop we are going to have a huge earthquake. I say we need to stop drilling anything in or out of the earth for everyone's safety.
