Trouble at East High- Emily Eppig 8th

After Vanessa Hudgens posted a photo of a heart carved into red rock within the Coconino National Forest on her instagram, authorities are looking into pressing charges against the actress. Although they are unsure wether Hudgens actually carved the heart of not, defacing a national feature is punishable by jail time and a $5,000 fine. In order to determine who the culprit was, police will be searching for witnesses and looking into social media. Although Hudgens is a fairly popular celebrity, if convicted, she won't just be able to 'Work This Out'.
Personally i don't think her status should affect he punishment at all. Destroying national property is a crime wether you're a celebrity or not. It was a dumb decision to commit the act in the first place, but she also self-incriminated herself on social media. I highly doubt shell be able to just 'Walk Away' from this.
This event can relate back to the 5th amendment. She is protected by her right to not self-incriminate in tat she wasn't immediately found guilty after she posted the photo. More investigation is necessary in order for a fair conviction and persecution.
