"Uber Killings in Michigan" by Tea Perez 1st period

In Kalamazoo County, Michigan, on Saturday a man shot eight and killed six random people while driving from one target to another through Uber. Around 5:42 p.m., he shot a woman in front of her children at an apartment complex parking lot. The woman was struck multiple times but is expected to survive. Four hours later, the gunman killed a father and son at a car dealership. Minutes later, he drove to a Cracker Barrel restaurant and opened fire in the parking lot, killing four women and wounding a 14-year-old girl. A viewer said, "These were very deliberate killings. This wasn't hurried in any way, shape or form. They were intentional, deliberate and, I don't want to say casually done. Coldly done is what I want to say."

This is an issue that's been occurring. It's especially scary because this was a random shooting. This goes into the issue of gun rights and should people really have the right to carry and fire arm with them?

  1. I really need to get my license... I use uber every day and so does my little brother, I can't stand the thought of this happening to him or somebody else I know. This is horrifying.
