A young french entrepeneur in San Francisco has created a small, odd looking, bubble shaped aircraft. In sacramentarage o another start up has been created featuring a new foldable aircraft so compact it can be kept in a garage. In Idaho a man named Burt Rutan has created a seaplane with retractable skis, powered by a single propeller. All of these planes are part of a new generation of smaller and lighter aircraft. The aircraft industry has been unchanged for quite some time. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration defines small as an aircraft of 12,500 pounds or less, and for these new planes to all be so small means a whole new way of creating planes.
This article written by miquel Ros, CNN, shows us all that the word is becoming even more modern. The new ideas presented here are the equivalent of when Henry Ford invented a lighter and more efficient car along with the assembly process. These ideas along with Henry Fords are seen as crazy and unrealistic, but they also mean that the world is becoming even more technologically advanced. It is important for people to keep up with modern tachnology, and the fact that airplanes could now fold up, and fit in your garage is something to be excited about.
