Rape Accusations on Four H.S. Seniors - Ava Cosentino pd.1

Summary:
Four seniors from Mt. Rainier High School have been arrested for possible rape accusations. Said rape victims, both 15 at the time, both gave Police very similar stories of what happened after a school trip. Although chaperons were supposed to be present during all times of the trip and inside the hotel the school was staying at, it is possible that the two freshman were rapped by the four seniors. Suspects have not been tried in a court of law yet, however, because two of them were above the age of 18, they will be tried as adults, while the others will be tried as minors.

Analysis:
Firstly, if these rape accusations are ruled true in the court of law, I believe that the chaperons that were on shift should also be tried. If the chaperons were effectively doing their jobs, there would be no possible way in which the 15 year olds could have successfully snuck off to the seniors' "party". Though this case is not yet about chaperons, chaperons are the people who parents trust to keep their kids safe, and if that's not what they were doing, then I believe they should also get in a decent amount of trouble.
