On Wednesday in Chicago the suspect by the last name of Taylor jumped a police officer while in Jerome Combs Detention Center and then escaped with the police officers uniform and his SUV. Authorities had been looking for him since Wednesday but then with the help of surveillance cameras Taylor was spotted just before midnight. Once authorities realized that it was Taylor with the help of a tattoo on his neck they went out to find him only for him to lead them on a chase. He ran five blocks and when detained he was seen to be carrying a loaded handgun. Taylor was very uncooperative with authorities but they knew that they had the right guy and they conferenced they had the right guy by using his fingerprints. Taylor was then booked on several more charges. His was in jail already for murdering someone June of 2013.
I'm very glad that they were able to captured the subject because he is s very dangerous guy. For him to have beat up a guard who was ex military and for already being in jail for murdering someone I think it's great that they got this man off of the streets. This can relate to history just because of the advancements in technology. Back then they didn't have machines were you could identify someone for their fingertips but since the invention had been made many criminals have been caught and also many other things have been done as well.
