Snowstorm pounding the Midwest by Mackenzie McGregor

Today was the first day that the Midwest experienced a cold spell of fall. This week the Midwest shall receive cold temperatures and plenty of snow from an icy blast originally formed in Canada. This abrupt change in temperature has left some unprepared as the temperatures were in the upper 50s to low 60s. It expected tomorrow that some areas will be in the 20s, a startling change from the warm autumn experienced thus far. The Midwest is not the only area to drop in temperatures rapidly. Starting tomorrow, Texas temperatures will stay around the mid to upper 40s. This sudden alteration in temperature will throw many off in our state as we are generally used to a gradual decrease in temperatures. The United States will be experiencing quite a change in weather this week, from the Midwest to the South. Everyone should prepare accordingly.
