"Iraq war veteran Thomas Young kills him self at age 34" Julian Smith

            Thomas Young joined the military shortly after 911, he wanted to defend his country against afghan terrorists. He was instead sent to Iraq, a country he thought did nothing wrong. while he was there fighting he was shot by a sniper and paralyzed. When he came back home he began protesting against the Iraq war. Eventually His condition worsened. a blood clot in his lungs caused brain damage and he lost more of his ability to move. After living in this state for awhile he decided he no longer wanted to live. He decided to end his life by rejecting his feeding tube and starving to death.
             Well this story is a good testament against a war so many of us are ashamed of. Thomas received some hate for his decision to end his life. I really don't blame him at all. he was taking up to 30 pills a day, he had his colon removed, and generally he wasn't living a humane life at this point. If he was ready to end the suffering I believe he had every right to.
