In Ferguson, Missouri, Officer Darren Wilson, the man who killed Michael Brown, has been liberated from the threat of indiction. Protesters gathered outside the Ferguson police station advertising justice for Brown. Before the heading today, Brown's parents requested for everyone to have four and a half minutes of silence before protesting began. The four and and half minutes represented the four and a half hours their son's dead body was left on the ground before he was found. Wilson has yet to apologize to Mr. And Mrs. Brown or the community.
I can't describe the disgust I feel for this situation. Personally, being apart of the African American race, it honestly saddens me to see the continuation of discrimination against Black people. I wonder would this had played out the same if Brown was the officer who shot a teenage Wilson. Sadly, I am unable to say it would.
