911 call gone wrong by Sarah Oviedo 6th pd.

A call was made to a 911 dispatcher in Sumner, Georgia on October 24th, 2014. The man allegedly had information about a wanted man in his area but before he would give the information up he wanted something in return. After the dispatcher turned down the notion of a deal due to the fact that she was only a dispatcher and could not give him anything. After she asked the man for his information he decided to then tell the dispatcher that her voice sounded sexy and asked for her number when she asked for his. He eventually gave up his address and an officer was sent to his home where he was arrested for not using a 911 call properly and then, after further investigation, illegal narcotics were found at his home so he was promptly arrested and sent to jail and is there now.

This is an example why drugs can't be legal in most areas because people do not know how to use them responsibly and it causes them to take inconsiderable actions. The man held up the 911 call line which someone else could've been waiting for who actually had a dire emergency. This impacts the US because people's irresponsible actions can have a greater effect on society. This is why the Government has to have an input in people's open choices due to the safety of others.

  1. It's amazing that the US has provided the people with emergency responders, but it's important to not disrespect such a beneficial resource.
