As of minutes ago, the announcement was made that the grand jury decided not to indict Ferguson police officer, Darren Wilson. He was accused and put on trial for shooting Michael Brown. Since the decision has been made there has been breaking news of chaos throughout the city. Restaurants and buildings have been set on fire and flights being restricted. It has been said that an entire row of businesses have been set on fire on West Florissant Avenue (a major street in the city) and that the fire department is having trouble keeping up.

My dad and I earlier tonight watched the announcement of the jury's decision because it was a made a public announcement and automatically changed the channel. This case reminds me of the Dred Scott Decision in the way of how big of an impact it had on the people.

The protests have not only been in Ferguson. Last night in Dallas I-35E was shut down for a time due to protesters stoping traffic. Also, another group of protesters walked the streets of Dallas.
