By Meridith Edwards and Darran Simon, CNN

Samantha Josephson, 21, a student at the University of South Carolina, was found dead in a field after last seen on surveillance footage getting into what she thought was her uber. She was out with her friends until she got separated and at about 2 A.M. she ordered an uber for home. She had gotten into a car driven by suspected killer, Nathaniel David Rowland. An autopsy report showed that Josephson's body had numerous wounds, including on her head, neck, face, upper body, leg, and foot. At this moment Rowland is pleading innocent and claiming had nothing to do with Josephson's death.

This is a really tragic story to read. It shows the importance of making sure your driver is who they say they are; always check the license plate and the driver's name, and if you feel unsure you can decline the ride. whether it's Rowland or not, I hope that they can find justice for her death.
