The Trump administration have agreed on how the government will identify potentially thousands of immigrant families on this ongoing family separation in which that the US authorities have separated at the southern border. However the government has said that the process could take up to two years given the painstaking nature of the task but the plaintiffs have argued that it could be faster. Sabraw did have this preliminary injunction which had blocked most family separations at the US-Mexican border and have ordered the government to reunite the families they had already separated. They are trying to make it happen faster but it is a process.
This is good that they are trying to do something to stop this family separation from happening however it shouldn't have taken them this long to come to senses that this is a big problem going on and that it is wrong. This connects back to when they had the immigration law and it prevent people from coming to the US and it took them a long time to realize that this was stupid and that it was unfair and also that they needed those immigrants so I think that is what is happening now.
