Maria Golici - Cancer to Crossfit

Steph Hammerman or "Steph the Hammer" is a true inspiration to many around the world. She was born with cerebral palsy and just beat cancer, as well, she was also diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma, stage 3B. Hammerman believes that if it wasn't for exercise she wouldn't be alive to this day. Even though she is in a wheelchair she still pushes herself to achieve and ace the impossible. She decided to open her own gym, Hammer Driven Fitness in Knightdale, North Carolina and became a CrossFit trainer. She works with all different ages and abilities. Along with all of the great things she has accomplished, she is also chosen as Nikes first adaptive training athlete in 2018.

Through out the entire world the human body has always been a mystery to others and was always been able to push boundaries. This is not the first time nor will it be the last time that the human body will push past disabilities. This is an inspiring story and shows us to not take things for granted and to work hard everyday.
