A Texas couple has been found guilty of harboring an illegal alien, as well as having her enslaved.
When the authorities came to search the home they found out that constantly abused her and made her do most of the chores without giving her a bed or education.
This event was a clear example of human trafficking and how it can occur now but also the fact that this is what they did in the Atlantic Slave Trade. They take people without their consent and are forced to participate in things they don't want to do.
