I'm growing increasingly sure we should consider humanity a failed project. It seems that the world should have ended in 2012 and it was a mistake for our world to continue. Case in point: this newstory revealing an unnamed woman dumped puppies in a trashcan at Coachella. The woman has now been identified but her identity has not been revealed although she is being pursued so that she may face consequences. Thankfully, a man rummaging through the trash can discovered the puppies, took them to a nearby hardware store and got them to a pet shelter where they are now being bottle fed. It's quite lucky he discovered the puppies when he did because the bag was sealed and the weather was above ninety degrees the entire afternoon. There was a fifteen minute window that the puppies could have been rescued and survived and thankfully the man was there in time.
I'm of course relieved the puppies will likely be okay and that the man found them in time but I cannot fathom why anyone would do this. There is no excuse, reason or explanation that could justify it. It reminds me of the shooting of Tamir Rice in how utterly unjustified it is although we can hope this instance will bring forth more consequences for the perpetrator.
This is just one of those stories that you hear, and at first you laugh because it can't simply be true. However, the gravity of this situation is undeniable, especially with the truly despicable act of forsaking a bunch of puppies to heat stroke in a trash can at Coachella. What an awful way to die that would be. Thank God someone found those puppies before it was too late.
