Suicide bombings took place at 3 hotels and 3 churches in Sri Lanka on Saster Sunday causing 290 deaths and over 500 injuries. The attacks were clearly coordinated according to authorities, and 13 people have been arrested due to their suspected involvement. 

It is incredibly tragic that we live in a time where religious discrimination leads to fear over celebrating Easter or going to church, and attacks like these are a symptom of nationalism and terrorism that have been growing unchecked in Sri Lanka.
