Trump and ‘Beautiful Ted’ embrace at Texas rally

Summary: After previous disputes during the presidential election Trump had called Ted cruz “lying Ted” whilst also making multiple insults throughout his campaign. Now he has recently came out to endorse Ted Cruz in his campaign for Texas Senate. While in the rally Trump apologizes for all the bad remarks he said in the past and had called him beautiful, Texas Ted.
Analysis: this automically reminded me of Hamilton endoring Jefferson during his president campaign against Aaron Burr. Hamilton, even though he constantly disagreed on most thing Jefferson agreed on, he endorsed Jefferson when he is running against Burr for multiple reason ax Although I am not comparing Trump to Hamilton, I feel like that Trump can influence many people’s votes just the way Hamilton did with the election with Jefferson.

ReplyDeleteThis is just another example of how hypocritical our president can be. How can we trust a man that constantly goes back on his word. Better yet how can other countries trust us as a nation with a leader that has such unpredictable behavior.
