Trump administration considering limiting asylum seekers at southern border, could raise standard to claim asylum

Trump is trying to limit, if not, close off immigrants from coming to the US from crossing the border.a department of homeland security said that they could think about limiting the immigrants hat come to the US. It’s also closing the ports or limiting the people coming from overseas and will only let a couple come in if the administration has enough room in the facilities and if they can process them . In my opinion I feel like they should just check backgrounds to see who they are and if wether they have criminal records they aren’t allowed into America . I think it’s unfair to every hardworking immigrant. This relates to US history by bring immigration problem into this and show that America still isn’t ready to man up to the immigrants that are coming of people that wnat to better us.
