KANYE. STOOOOOOP! - Darrin Fleenor

Kanye West is throwing a literal hat into the political arena once again, this time designing a line of T-shirts and hats for a campaign dedicated to urging black voters in the U.S. to break away from the Democratic party. The rapper and fashion mogul designed a series of clothing merchandise supporting “Blexit,” which seeks to not only convince black voters to change parties but shows the stories of those that have already. The designs debuted Saturday at the Turning Point USA’s Young Black Leadership Summit, a meeting meant to bring together conservatives in the black community. Although West did not appear at the event directly, its Communications Director Candace Owens sung his praises at the event in spirit. Kanye West is throwing a literal hat into the political arena once again, this time designing a line of T-shirts and hats for a campaign dedicated to urging black voters in the U.S. to break away from the Democratic party. 2. He really does need to stop because it makes him look crazy and the community is just sad to see him act like this.

  3. I understand he's just using his right to free speech, and I respect that. However, there is a line where you may want to reconsider what you say as it may make you sound crazy.

  4. Kanye has truly gone crazy! Personally, I do not get how he once went from he and his family campaigning against Trump, to know trying to get black people to support the Republican party. Personally I do not get how anyone who is black can support this.

  5. I respect the fact that he’s using his freedom of speech, but I think that making a whole t-shirt line is a little much. He has social media that many people know and talk about, so it would make more sense to use that as a way to spread his message.

  6. Good for him for using his freedom of speech, but has he even looked at himself in the mirror? -Alma Alvarado-Cabrera
