On Saturday, a gunman opened fire on innocent temple goers killing 11 people and injuring 6 others. After being trapped for twenty minutes by police, 46 year old Robert Bowers gave himself up and surrendered. But not after changing the lives of so many. This was the deadliest attack in the U.S. on the Jewish Race.
Bowers was armed with an AR-15 along with several handguns to inflict his brutal hatred towards the Jewish People. How many innocent lives must be taken before common sense gun laws are passed in this country? I cannot believe our founding fathers knew that technology today gives guns the capability to kill so many so fast when they constructed the second amendment.

I wrote about this event, but about how the people came together. I think it’s so sad that this happened especially at a synagogue. I hope we can fix matters like this in our country. - Joziah German
