This morning an Indonesian passenger jet crashed into the ocean minutes after taking off from Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia . The plane carried 189 people including 3 children. Authorities said that no survivors are expected to be found.

This relates to the Delta Airlines 1985 flight that crashed shortly after taking off from Los Angeles. It’s horrible that this happened and I hope that all the families affected are okay.
This is a tragic accident and I hope the authorities find out what the issue was with the plane that caused it to crash.

Hopefully the cause behind the crash is discovered and policies and checks are put into place to make sure nothing like this ever happens again. I can't even imagine what the families must be feeling right now.
