Trump has been pressuring to stop Caravan. The Mexican Government had order the people that have migrated to submit to the processing. But instead people chose to move on meaning that they crossed the border illegally by swimming or rafting across a river. This past weekend thousands of undocumented immigrants crossed the Guatemalan border into Mexico. The caravan is part of a tradition of mass migrations.
Trump is obviously upset about this whole situation and is trying to do something about it. I feel like there’s not a good enough reason to be that upset over this because they are just trying to survive like everyone else. This connects to how immigration was really big during the industrial era the immigrants were not being treated fairly.
I agree that they should not be crossing the border illegally ,but what can we do to stop this yet help them? In the end they are just trying to create a better life for themselves and their family.
