Donald Trump gets sweet revenge on Ted Cruz today in Texas

Today the president is supporting Ted Cruz in another rally. While this shows Cruz’s desperation, it also shows another obstacle for Beto O’Rourke. In the election of 1800, Hamilton supported Jefferson- his former adversary- and Jefferson ended up getting elected.
The difference here is that Trump May be using Cruz to promote himself. “A vote for Ted is a vote for me in 2020.”
No matter Trump’s true intentions, this is a huge deal for the Texas senate race.
I agree this is the same as the election of 1800 and they had the same intentions
