President Donald Trump chooses Brett Kavanaugh to be Justice Anthony M. Kennedy’s successor as Supreme Court Justice. He is a Yale Law School graduate, and served in the independent counsel of Kenneth Starr as his assistant and as associate council and staff secretary of Bush’s administration. He worked in the D.C. circuit of U.S. Court of Appeals as well as a clerk alongside Anthony M. Kennedy. Kavanaugh faces opposition from the Democratic Party who thinks his conservative mindset is too strong for Court. He has the potential to change many important topics over to the conservative sides. Some of these issues being gay marriage and the right to have an abortion or even voting laws.
