this article was released on August 22nd, right in the middle of Donald Trump’s presidency. It describes how the Washington Post fact checker has caught Trump saying 4,229 false or misleading statements and has used the Lie word, which is used very rarely. The president tells about 7 lies per day, which is probably 10 times the average person. The source was created by the Washington Post, the audience is mostly liberals, and for them this is positive because it proves that Trump is not valid. This source was written to show examples of Trump keeping the truth from america and debunk his authority,it was produced at this certain time because Michael Chen and Stormy Daniels were finally coming out and exposing Trump's lies , and the thing he did do hide them. The point it is trying to convey is that Trump cannot be trusted, and that many people have been bribed to keep him safe. The times of him lying and flying under the radar are over, and this article validates that.Washington post , a very democratic source , created this article. The authors point of view is that Trump is a liar who shouldn't be in office, which in some cases would make the article less credible, but they are simply stating facts. The article shows us how little lies turn into big ones even in our own lives, and that when you are broadcast across the whole country people will catch your lies, no matter how high up you are. This is important because it shows us the TRUTH about our president, compared to the previous president who only told 18 lies. So what, don't tell lies, you WILL pay the price.

Lily McCollum -- It is saddening to see that the president is this untruthful. I know that his tweets contain issues, but i never realized how severe.
