Hurricane Florence Gain Strength
More than one million people are forced out of their homes and towards the East Coast as the massive Hurricane Florence gains speed. By the 13th, professionals estimate that 10 trillion gallons of rain will have fallen on North Carolina. On the 14th, Hurricane Florence hit land killing at least 20 people and leaving a massive path of destruction behind it. Professionals say the flooding may get worst. This connects the aftermath of Katrina. How millions of people has to evacuate and even maybe say goodbye to the home they lived in for years. ReplyDeleteWhat step is our country going to take to make catastrophic events less catastrophic? For example, Denmark made steps so that they would have ways to store the excess water so the town wouldn't flood.

My question is, Why have we had so many hurricanes and never learn from them? Because think about it, if we've learned from them, why aren't there precautions being made to where the same amount of people won't die every time a big hurricane hits. - Kadar Price
