The Creative Assembly, the developers of the Total War series, received 350 negative reviews on the gaming site Steam, on their newest game Total War: Rome II. Players who have played and written some of the reviews, have brought attention to the numerous amounts of women generals, compared to male generals. This erupted so much calamity in the gaming community, that one of the chief editors said that, if the gamers had a problem with too many women, they could just mod the game to their liking. She also stated that it was a history based game, but NOT historically accurate. This ties into the fighting rights that women had in history, and how they weren’t allowed to fight in the army.
