Telltale Employee Sues the Company - John Lunzer
Last week, when popular game company Telltale Games fired 90% of their staff on the spot with no severance package and shut down the company pretty much, 275 pissed off employees had no job and no way to support their families. One of the employees, Vernie Roberts Jr, filed a first class action on the Studio in defense of all his fellow employees. He noted that they should have been notified of the "impending termination" 60 days prior to it occurring int he name of the state of California's WARN Act. This 60 day period provided a weak spot for Roberts to hammer in as many faults as possible that Telltale committed during that time. Some included overworking and missing salaries that were never paid off. Roberts also proclaims that any off this 275 fellow laid off employees can join in and support the lawsuit. Telltale also exclaimed that their current project, "The Walking Dead: The Final Season" would be put in the hands of "potential partners", which would surely cause political controversy for Telltale fans worldwide.
