President Trump recommended that House members adopt the Senate's budget plan this week. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan told GOP members that he'd want the tax reforms put into effect by the end of the year, the Senate budget bill seems the best shot to make it within that time constraint. Trump says the plan will "cut taxes for hardworking, middle-class families" and "restore our competitive edge so we can create better jobs and higher wages for American workers." Trump also believes he has the votes to pass the plan, making it a lock for the House. This comes in the wake of massive criticism regarding the implementation of Trump's healthcare plan. This could be an opportunity for Trump to restore public faith in his decisions, or deteriorate it further. Either way, he hasn't lost his enthusiasm regarding this issue.
