The Ohio House decided to pass a bill that would ban abortion in the state of Ohio after a fetal diagnosis of down syndrome. Women that have abortions with the knowledge of the fetus being diagnosed with down syndrome will not be penalized under this law. Indiana, Louisiana and North Dakota have all passed laws the ban abortion in certain cases.
I extremely disagree with this anti-choice law. The biggest problem with this law and politics is that they both make simple problems unnecessarily complicated. No person has the right to tell another person to do with their own body and whatever is inside of their body.
